Anna Snijder Contemporary Painter Based in Naarden, The Netherlands

My work explores the tension between movement and stillness, intuition and intention.

I work intuitively and in layers, allowing colour, texture, transparency, and gesture to evolve organically through the process. A recurring black line navigates the depths of the canvas, creating tension, connection, and structural balance until the work finds its own equilibrium.
